Can any of you tell me what this story is about? Here you have quite a good animation with Allan Parson's music:

If you want your green point, send a comment summarizing Poe's story.

The cask of amontillado is written by Edgar Allan Poe. This history is very dark.

In the cask of amontillado, Edgar Allan Poe explains the history of a man that cheats another man to kill it. This history happens during the carnival (they are disguised). First, the killer cheats another man: The killer leads another man to a warehouse to drink wine.In the warehouse the man gets drunk, and he falls sleep. When he sleep, the killer ties it to the wall and when he get up, the killer start to covering with bricks and cement these room. days later he dies.

This history is very terrifying, but very good.

The story explains how Montresor kills Fortunato. It is a horror story. Montresor tricks Fortunato into drinking some wine. When he gets very drunk, Montresor puts some chains around his wrists and arms and starts to build a wall so that he gets locked in and dies from asphyxiation.

In this story montresor guides fortunato to a winehouse in the festival of carnival, then he leaves the drunk offender (fortunato) in a close habitacle and inmured him ( there the wordplay of the amontillado wine and the immured fortunato). When he is immured montresor talk with the victim about his revenge, about the reason of fortunato dead. Then slowly fortunatos dead alone, without feeding and suffering.

The main character makes a song about a revenge of Fortunato. The main character will laugh at Fortunato's face while he says: “ come let us go I’ve a cask of amontillado”. He chains his objective up a wall and builds a wall. Next to the wall he leaves a glass of wine that Fortnuato empties out when the main character is satisfied with his work.
